About us

All people who love embroidery are encouraged to join, regardless of skill level.

Objectives for the Guild

  • To foster embroidery and textile arts and to seek and maintain a high standard of individual performance.
  • To promote, preserve and encourage all aspects of embroidery and textile arts by providing a venue for members to meet and share knowledge and skills.
  • To provide workshops and forums to enable members to further their knowledge and skills.

Leadership

Each year members elect a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Together with the general committee members they conduct the affairs of the Guild.

There are also convenors appointed for the newsletter, marketing and promotion, workshop, library, HEGYS (young stitchers group), and exhibition.
